Application
EasyGas® C2F6 is a sterile medical product composed of a gas mixture of highly purified hexafluoroethane (C2F6) and highly purified synthetic air. It contains no biologically active components, is chemically and physiologically inert, and non-toxic. EasyGas® C2F6 is used in ophthalmic surgery as a postoperative long-term endotamponade. The ready-to-use system from Fluoron GmbH is especially characterized by its simple, fast, and safe handling.
