Application

Brilliant Peel® Dual Dye is a biocompatible tissue dye for ocular use. It is a sterile and endotoxin-free solution of Brilliant Blue G and Bromphenol Blue. Brilliant Peel® Dual Dye has been developed specifically for the selective staining of the internal limiting membrane (ILM) and epiretinal membranes (ERM). Through the targeted staining of the ILM and ERM, they can be clearly distinguished from the underlying retinal tissue and precisely peeled. This reduces the risk of damage to the underlying retinal layers, making the surgically demanding removal of the ILM or ERM easier and safer.
