Application
Densiron® 68 / Densiron® Xtra are colorless, homogeneous liquids composed of a mixture of highly purified polydimethylsiloxane and highly purified perfluorohexyloctane. Densiron® 68 / Densiron®
Xtra contain no biologically active components, are chemically and physiologically inert, and non-toxic. In ophthalmic surgery, they are used as postoperative long-term endotamponades following
the surgical treatment of severe retinal detachments. They are also used as tamponades in macular hole surgery.

30.5% perfluorohexyloctane
